By With the “new normal” going on, it’s hard to find options for a nice Friday night, or simply to get some fresh air and a nice meal, especially in New York City. As a sushi lover, I have to be honest, I hadn’t found a sushi place that I absolutely love until this week. I went to the Sushi Lab, located in the Sanctuary Hotel and mmmm, I finally found my sushi place ๐
The Sushi Lab provides unique creations on traditional sushi. Serving Omakase, Nigiri, Sashimi, Maki and other Japanese delights.ย
It was my first time trying the Omasake, and I was lucky to seat at the bar and watch the chefs make it from scratch. When dining at Japanese restaurants, the Omasake is a plate where the customer leaves it up to the chef to select and serve seasonal specialties. So whatever they picked, I’m telling you it was delicious.
And let’s not forget about the drinks… I enjoyed at least three of their Spicy Tokis: Japanese whiskey, jalapeno, lime, topped with sparkling water. Highly recommended!
