By Welcome back family! It’s been two weeks since I came back from my Florida vacation and this time I decided to do a little getaway in one of my favorite cities: Miami. If you have been following me for a while now, you probably remember I was living in Miami two years ago but I decided to change my destination and here I am now!
When looking for hotels in Miami, I was leaning towards a place where I could scape, with places nearby (The Aventura Mall specifically) and a few minutes away from the beach of course! I found the Residence Inn Miami Aventura Mall during my search and I absolutely loved the experience!
As soon as I arrived, I stumbled upon the best surprise. I had the cutest welcome basket from “Why not a basket” and a gift bag from “Vivify Brand“ The basket had personalized cups and a little cosmetic bag with my initial, a sleeping mask, blanket, a really fancy agenda and a scented candle. My vivify gift bag had two really cute face masks that I’ve been wearing everywhere btw ๐
The room
Now let’s talk about the room!
Actually, I got a studio-apartment and it was lovely. It had a kitchen, living room area with a TV, dining area and a private room with a spacious bathroom and closet.
Other Amenities
The pool area was really nice! I liked the fact that it wasn’t crowded which works great with our current reality and people were respectful about social distancing. I spent one afternoon relaxing at the pool while checking your messages ๐
The lobby was also a very nice. It has a very modern design and next to it, there is a conference room where you can work and take advantage of the fast Wi-Fi.
5 Minutes away from the beach
Yes, this was one of my favorite things about the hotel. It was literally 5 minutes away from the beach (if you uber or drive). You can actually walk and it would be a 15 min walk which is not bad at all, and you’ll get a mini work out, but you know I’m not really the type who likes to walk lol.
This is also a beautiful beach, not too crowded which is what I wanted and it was very clean too. If you just want a relaxing day at the beach, with no noise, this one is perfect!
